We reserved for an early meal on Mother's day. The restaurant itself is a quaint and lovely building and it is a picturesque part of town. Or was especially beautiful in mid spring. Our waitress and the entire wait staff were courteous and attentive. The meal was delicious. As soon as we walked through the entrance we were greeted by the wonderful scent of the whole wheat garlic bread wafting in the air. I highly recommend everyone to try this garlic bread; it's so good! We started with a simply dressed fresh arugula & fennel salad that my mom and I shared. The restaurant brought it out on 2 plates. My main, eggplant parm was so unique and scrumptious! An unbreaded version, constructed of very many eggplant layers. It was a large portion served on its own, without pasta but I found that I didn't miss or need the pasta , still having leftovers to take home. We finished with a delightful tiramisu and espresso. Would definitely revisit this place, as we will be dreaming of that garlic bread. PS it's bring your own wine too so come prepared.

We have past this restaurant for years, finally called and made a reservation for my birthday. The inside is is very nice a modern looking. Service is very polite and never felt like we were rushed. The food was amazing. My Lasagna, you can tell is made freshly made not cut out of a pan. The portion was huge and I couldn't even finish it. Wife had the Bolognese, she loved it, ad a good amount of meat in the sauce. The coconut cake, O-M-G, that is a must have. We will definitely be going back, Thank You.

We had reservations but had to wait about 10 min to get seated on a busy Saturday night. All staff was very courteous and the restaurant was at capacity. The service was good and food was amazing. The atmosphere is quaint, intimate, and cozy (a little tighter than I prefer). You can tell everything was homemade and that they use fresh ingredients. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the eggplant parm. The portions were nice. The tomato sauce tasted spectacular, but was a little more watery than I prefer. For dessert I had the tiramisu and my wife had the chocolate mousse cake, which we absolutely loved. Overall our experience was positive and we’d definitely return again. Good job Francisco’s!

Had reservations with a friend on Tuesday at 6:30pm. Place was pretty empty so service was fast. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There's an option for bread from the menu or complimentary bread. We opted for the complimentary and it was great. For apps we got the mussels in white sauce. Really enjoyed the broth the muscles were sitting in. It had just the right amount of seasoning and full of flavor. Perfect for dipping the bread into. The mussels were fresh but there were maybe 3 in the bunch where the size was miniscule. We checked if the mussels fell into the broth but nope, just tiny I guess. For entree I got the crab capellini. Absolutely delicious. The texture of the pasta was perfect and the vodka sauce was wonderful. The crab was fresh and there was a generous amount within the dish. For dessert we shared the creme brulee. Loved the crunch of the sugar crust and the custard was perfect with lots of vanilla flavor.

I’ve lived in the area for a long time and had no idea this place existed. It’s a very cute but small place overlooking the river all by itself. Overall the service was great and the food was good, on the verge of very good. A few more options for appetizers would have been nice but the meals were hearty and flavorful. It is also nice being a BYOB. We will likely be back to try some other meals.

Found this while driving by and it looked like a nice place. Went for dinner with my wife and we really enjoyed it. Sat outside, you will get some road noise from the occasional car but it's not busy in the evening. Nice view of the Delaware while we ate. Food was excellent and the servers were attentive and pleasant. Will go again.
